Dr Smriti Mazumder completed undergraduate Medicine from Mymensingh Medical College (University of Dhaka). She also completed a Diploma in Child Health through Westmead Children’s Hospital in Sydney. She has obtained several years of experience working in hospitals in Bangladesh and Australia.
In particular, Dr Mazumder gained extensive experience across a range of specialities in St. John of God Murdoch hospital and Northern Health prior to joining as a GP registrar in Daintree Medical Centre. During her tenure as a hospital medical officer in the emergency department of Northern Health, Smriti decided to pursue a career in general practice.
In her spare time, Smriti enjoys painting, reading and travelling.
